If you’d like to contribute a piece or be a guest blogger for Rumours World we would LOVE to hear from you! Just give the guidelines a little read through so everything is clear, and then scroll down to the submission form! We look forward to hearing from you!

PLEASE ENSURE YOUR CONTENT MEETS ALL GUIDELINES BEFORE SUBMITTING:

• Do not submit duplicate content. Please submit new, original content that you have written solely for RUMOURS WORLD. We do not publish duplicate content from your blog, as duplicate content affects both our site and your site negatively in Google rankings. If you have had a similar (but not the same) article published on your own blog or another website please include a link so that we can review it. If your story is published and you subsequently publish the same article on your blog or elsewhere, we will remove the article, if you knowingly published the same content in multiple places. Of course you can share a link to your RUMOURS WORLD post on your own blog platform.

• Please include relevant links for any restaurants, hotels, co-working spaces, apps, websites, products or tourist attractions in your post.

• Please check spelling/grammar before you submit.

• Please maintain our core values of authenticity and curiosity. We want all our content to be ‘real’, genuine and showcase personal experiences. We must however emphasise this does not equate to being hateful, derogatory, or offensive to a specific person, brand, country, company or group.

• Diversity and inclusion are more than just words for us. They’re the hard-and-fast principles guiding how we build our content and community. We have a global, multicultural following and we want to reflect that inside our team of contributors too. We are committed to establishing inclusivity, equitable treatment and elimination of discrimination in all its forms at all organisational levels and throughout all content, this is vital to all content submitted from outside contributors.

• We focus on sharing content by women, for women, and those identifying as women.

OTHER STUFF

• Each contributor will have their post featured on the Rumours.World blog, and across our social channels. They will also get a dedicated profile area on the Rumours.World website, including a photo, a short bio, links to their social channels & website!

• We reserve the right to make edits to your article to improve structure, language, grammar, SEO, required links, additional useful information and images if your images are not the required quality for our site. We will run these changes by you before posting!

• By submitting your article and photos you are not considered an employee of Rumours.World and so you should not represent yourself as such, though you are welcome to represent yourself as a ‘contributor’ and ‘part of the Rumours World community’.

• You retain all rights to your media.

• Rumours.World does not pay for guest posts.

What Happens Next

If your story is chosen to be featured we will notify you via email. We value authenticity and curiosity, showcasing the good, the bad-ass and the realities of travel and startups! Check out our purpose and values here. We have detailed guidelines to help your story get selected, so please ensure you follow all of these. Please also note that we plan our publishing schedule around 1-2 months in advance, so you may not hear from us for while, please don’t worry we will be in touch!
