I’m the Founder of Rumours World and your Retreat host! I’m an elder millennial who’s living her best digital nomad life, slow travelling the world while running 2 businesses and working freelance as a Marketing Strategist.

let’s talk tiny facts
I’m originally from the North of England, (so yes my accent is a bit ‘Game of Thrones’.), via London and now I work remotely as I slow-travel the world.
I’ve been to more countries in the rest of the world than I have in Europe… Not intentionally, an Italian food road-trip has been on my list forever!
I was obsessed with palm trees since 4 years old, finally saw one IRL when I was 12. As someone from grey England, to me they are the ultimate signifier of vacations and freedom!
My music tastes revolve around a long-standing loyalty to 70’s – 90’s (this covers girl bands, grunge, club-hits and hiphop), oh and Fleetwood Mac.

I made the move to leave London and go remote. The more I travelled the world, the more awesome women I met, crazy stories I heard, wild things I experienced…
This is how Rumours World began. A lowly blog and Whatsapp group sharing stories about how I once somehow made a French couple in Thailand think I was offering massages on a beach (I wasn’t, I was asking to borrow suncream!), or how I was SO insanely proud of myself for eating out in a restaurant alone for the first time (even though now this is a daily occurrence). But everyone in our tiny community understood, and could relate to what a huge deal this was. Because they’d been through it too.
With so many other moments like this – tinder dating abroad, navigating safe hostel stays, managing our mindsets and our finances – this was what Rumours World was built on. The REALNESS of solo travel.
